At Yoda's Place, we care about the safety and wellbeing of our customers, dogs, and staff. To make sure your pups have a great time with us, we kindly ask that all our customers follow the policies listed below.
Wellness Policy
In order to attend any of our programs (and enter our facilities), your puppy or dog must be healthy, and not showing any signs of illness. You must provide current Vaccination records that not have expired. Up-to-date vaccination records must be submitted to us in order to remain eligible for any Kathy Santo Dog Training service.
To submit your vaccination records, please contact ops@yodasplace.com.
Vaccination Exemptions:
All required vaccinations are “age appropriate”, and your puppy can participate in classes, Play, etc. as long as they have the proper vaccinations for their AGE.
We also understand that some dogs may have exemptions to certain vaccines for health reasons, and we’re happy to accept a note from your vet to accommodate these exemptions.
Should your puppy or dog fall into this category, e-mail ops@yodasplace.com with a letter from your vet and we'll notate it in your account.
If you suspect your puppy or dog is sick, unfortunately, we can not permit them access to the Facility. If your puppy or dog becomes ill during our care, our policy is to contact you immediately, and either bring it to the local vet or veterinary ER or, upon request, care for the dog to the best of our ability while you’re on the way to us. In the case of a dog who may be contagious, we will use a quarantine room for isolation purposes.
Boarding Policy
Requests for standard boarding are accepted up to 60 days in advance. Please note, because our boarding program is dependent on each team member's schedule and any space limitations within their homes, we, sadly, cannot accommodate every request that is received (even for those submitted right at the beginning of the 60 day request window).
Please make sure you understand this policy before submitting your requested dates.
Day Care Policy
Session and Package Refund Policy:
Refunds can be provided for unused sessions up to 2 weeks past the purchase date. You may also transfer your sessions to any sibling dog, relative, or friend's dog.
Cancellations, changes and no show policies:
Cancellation Policy:
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate high demand and a limited number of trainers. If you need to cancel your appointment, please try to do so at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will receive a partial refund of 50%.
Appointment adjustment policy:
We know that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please try to let us know at least 2 business days in advance. Requests made within 48 hours of the original appointment will be considered based on our team's availability. Please note that changes made with less than 48 hours' notice may include a 10% adjustment fee.
No show policy:
We kindly request that all guests arrive 10-15 minutes before their appointment. We know that traffic and schedules can be a bit tricky sometimes, so we're more than happy to hold your appointment for an extra 15 minutes if needed.
However, after 15 minutes, we won’t be able to hold your appointment, and a new appointment will need to be booked. Please note that missed appointments are non-refundable.
